The niobium target is made from high-purity niobium metal (purity > 99.95%). Niobium is a silver-gray, rare, soft, and ductile transition metal with a high melting point (2468°C), excellent corrosion resistance (resistance to strong acid/alkali corrosion at room temperature < 0.01 mm/year), and good conductivity.

The niobium targets achieve a purity level exceeding 99.95%, characterized by a refined grain size and a fully recrystallized microstructure. The material exhibits excellent triaxial consistency, which, as a cathode sputtering target, facilitates the formation of a highly uniform oxide film.
